What are BizzyB groups?

A BizzyB group is a collection of diligent individuals who share similar attributes and are working towards the same goal. These individuals consist of teachers and students who are able to create groups on various different topics which are known as projects/teams.

Group managers are allowed to construct a syllabus, set deadlines, mask users from public display and etc. A BizzyB user can choose to be a member of multiple groups. Memberships and most of the other features in the groups are completely free of cost.

What are Teams in the Groups Section of BizzyB?

In BizzyB, Teams are basically the Projects that the group members are working on.

How do I invite a member to a group?
To invite a member to a BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. If you want to add members to an already existing group, select your specified group.

4. If you want to add members to a new group see the section (Groups -> General -> How do I add/create a group?) to create a new BizzyB group.

5. Click on the Invite button above the member’s bar.

6. Select Member.

7. Enter the Email address of the BizzyB user you choose to invite. You can add multiple members at one go.

8. Click on Send.

The invitee will receive a notification regarding the group invitation. Once they accept the invitation, they will become permanent members of the group.

How do I add/create a group?
To create a BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click on the Add button.

4. Enter a Name for your group.

5. Enter a Parent Group. This field is optional so you can skip it if you wish.

6. Click Add to create your very own BizzyB group.

How do I add a parent group?
While creating a new group, you will be instructed to enter the name of a parent group. This field is optional so you may skip it if you wish. However, if you want to add a parent group for that existing group later on, follow these steps:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click on the Settings tab at the top.

  1. If you’re using your phone, click on the arrow at the top right corner and select Settings.

4. The Parent Group field will be available on the left side of the page.

5. Enter the name of the Parent Group.

6. Click on the Save button.

The official/primary manager of the parent group will have all the access of its child group’s projects.

How do I join a group?
To join a BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click the Join Group button on the right side of the page.

4. Search for the name of the group you want to join.

5. Click on Submit.

The manager of your desired group will receive a notification which will need to be accepted for you to be an official member of the group.

How do I view projects under a group?
To view the projects under a specific group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Select the group whose projects you want to view.

4. Scroll down to the teams’ bar under the members’ bar.

The list of teams presents the projects that have been undertaken by that specific group.

Where can I view my groups?
To view your BizzyB groups:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

Below you will find the list of groups that you’re a part of.

How do I view my group’s statistics?
To view your BizzyB group’s statistics:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Scroll down to My Performance.

Here, you’ll be able to see the overall performance of all the groups combined.

In case of individual groups, only the managers are able to see their managed group’s overall statistics.

How do I view my group impacts?
To view your group’s impacts:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Scroll down to Group Impacts.

Here, you’ll be able to see the overall impact of all the groups combined.

In case of individual groups, only the managers are able to see their managed group’s overall impact.

How do I view a group’s public page?
To view a group’s public page:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click on the Public Page tab at the top.

  1. If you’re using your phone, click on the arrow at the top right corner and select Public Page.

The group’s public page is a summary of all its assigned projects/teams. You may choose to hide your group’s public page from the general public by visiting the Settings and masking your group.

How do I delete a BizzyB group?
To delete a BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click the drop-down Actions button.

4. Select Delete to permanently remove the group.

Only managers are allowed to delete their groups.

How do I deactivate my BizzyB group?
To deactivate your BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. Click the drop-down Actions button.

4. Select Deactivate.

When you deactivate your BizzyB group, the system will save all the information that the group contains until further notice. This is in case you decide to reactivate your group.

How do I add a guest to my BizzyB group?
To add a guest to you BizzyB group:

1. Log into your BizzyB account.

2. Click on Features and select Groups,

  1. If you’re on your phone, click on the hamburger icon in the top right to select Features and scroll down to Groups.

3. If you want to add guests to an already existing group, select your specified group.

4. If you want to add guests to a new group see the section (Groups -> General -> How do I add/create a group?) to create a new BizzyB group.

5. Click on the invite button above the members’ bar.

6. Select Guest.

7. Enter the Email address of the BizzyB user you choose to invite. You can add multiple guests at one go.

8. Click on Send.

The invitee will receive a notification regarding the group invitation. Once they accept the invitation, they will become a guest of the group.

Guests do not have the same privilege as the members of the group as they are not able to create any projects. They can only view the projects without engaging in activities with the rest of the group.
